Primary Teacher – Part-time

Looking for enthusiastic and collaborative teachers willing to work part-time and join our team for our after-school learning center in Amsterdam Zuid Area.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct classes independently in their respective subjects
• Creating and/or participating while creating a lesson plan
• Assessing and adapting as per the learning needs of children
• Helping eduBridge grow and mature as an organization
• Mentoring assistant and trainee teachers whenever required

Knowledge and experience:

• Be able to demonstrate competence in their subject(s) (Maths, English and Science)
• Excellent knowledge and experience of different teaching and educational methodologies
• Preferable prior teaching experience in a school or similar setting
• Experience with international curriculum and multiple subjects is a plus

Abilities:

• Working collaboratively and professionally
• Stimulate students’ learning skills
• A caring attitude towards the kids
• Patience, punctuality, and perseverance
• Skills managing kids from 4 years old till 12 years old
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Working hours:

• Variable hours between 10 to 20 hrs. per week
• Afternoon timings (after school hours)

What do we offer:

• 2 months of training period
• Salary range: €12 to €20 per hour based upon experience 
• Travel allowance (when applicable)
